1. ATX Television Festival

Where: Downtown Austin
ATX Festival is the first festival devoted to television’s history and future. It functions like a traditional film festival with premieres of new series, current hits and cult favorites. ATX Television Festival also offers access to the industry’s leading professionals, with cast and creator Q&As, and panels focusing on innovation in both production and content delivery.
2. Republic of Texas Motorcycle Rally
When: 6/10/22 – 6/13/22
Where: Travis County Expo Center & Sixth Street
If you love motorcycles, this is for you! This year they will be celebrating its 25th anniversary, the state’s largest motorcycle gathering attracts thousands of bikers for rides, parades and music!
3. Central Texas Juneteenth Parade
When: 6/18/22
Where: East Austin
Juneteenth, also known as “Freedom Day” or “Emancipation Day,” is the oldest known African American celebration commemorating the end of slavery. Start the day at the 2K Freedom Run/Walk, then join the parade through historic East Austin. 5. African American Book Festival will be held at the George Washington Carver Museum & Library. This free, annual literary event showcases new works by and about African-Americans. Notable speakers and authors discuss their works and facilitate conversations.
